favorite episode!

Lately I’ve been rewatching random episodes while playing Pokémon, but since I’ve watched them all multiple times (don’t give me that look) I can’t really decide what to watch.

So since we have some new faces around here: what’s your favorite Critical Role episode and why?

Bonus if you have one from each campaign, that way I have even more to watch 😉

You know I would have been hard pressed to answer this question a while ago, but I honestly think my favourite episode of Critical Role might be Campaign 2 episode 43. Holy shit.

Can I just say "the entire Whitestone arc"? Because it's the entire Whitestone Arc*.

*I am only on C1.64 so this is subject to change, even though I was thoroughly spoiled for what goes down way before I started watching.

Yeah I feel like that's valid! That's my favourite arc of either campaign so far.

Best episode ever though for me is episode 31 (Gunpowder Plot). It's the episode I use to get new people in to Critical Role because it has everything! A bard turning into a dinosaur but also burning down a whole house, really awesome emotional RP, Percy...

It's just so good. Taliesin really hits it out of the park, and you have all the found family stuff you could ever ask for, and some of my favourite Vax moments of the whole series. One of my favourite Canon Divergent AUs to consider is if Vex hadn't died and Vax had been able to become a paladin of Sarenrae I love that episode so much, but the most recent episode of C2 was just ... incredible.
